How recharge began, the story of Hidde

After near bankruptcy and personal burnout, Hidde de Vries started The Recharge Company to improve work performance and well-being.

Entrepreneur and founder of The Recharge Company, Hidde de Vries, almost ran into bankruptcy of his media company in 2010. The accountant suffered burnout, which led Hidde to discover that the company had incomplete records in addition to debts. "For a year, I made assignments during the day and sought advertisers for my magazines, and at night I did the bookkeeping.''

Together with his team, he succeeded in saving the company, but he himself was completely battling burnout. He scrambled up, traveled the world. During his journey, he had 2 fascinations, 1) we all get busier and busier, and 2) we deal with it worse and worse. His search had begun for a program to help us take the blinders off for a while.
